Touch switch with dry contact
Switches with dry contacts are used when the Livolo switch should not directly control the light source, but instead send a signal to a module that controls the light source (e.g. Fibaro modules, LOXONE, other Z-Wave devices, etc.).
This type of switch is primarily intended for use with intelligent Smart Home systems that require a so-called "dry contact relay". A dry contact is a contact that does not have a direct connection to the power source and ground. This means that there is no voltage on the dry contact terminals if the terminals are not connected to other equipment.
A touch switch with a dry contact requires a 220 volt AC power supply. The switch operates in mode #1, where the contact is closed when touched to the sensor and opened when the sensor is touched again. This type of switch can be used to switch 12V, 24V, or 115V, 230V. The maximum load on the dry contact is 1000W.
