Led strip 24 volt

A 24-volt LED strip is an ideal artificial light source. The construction of the product includes flexible printed circuit boards with surface-mounted LEDs, making it well-suited for illuminating niches in suspended ceilings, wardrobes, spiral staircases, and vestibules. With the ability to cut the strip every 2.5 centimeters, even the smallest spaces can be easily illuminated.

Features of 24V LED strip

One of the main advantages of 24V LED strips is their low energy consumption. The key component that emits light in this technology is modern LEDs, labeled as SMD 3014. This marking indicates the size of the crystal, 3.0 mm by 1.4 mm, which is mounted on the surface of the mounting board. Thanks to their compact size, you can fit 60 or 120 LEDs per meter of the strip.

LED strips with 60 crystals consume around 5 watts of power per meter, while strips with 120 LEDs consume no more than 10 watts per meter. Another benefit of the device is its low heat generation during operation, which enhances safety and reduces the risk of ignition when in contact with various finishing materials.

Varieties of the device

Buying a 24V LED strip is always a good choice, as it is a high-quality product, available in two standards: IP33 and IP65. The first type is non-waterproof, which makes it more affordable. Such products are used in indoor environments protected from moisture and dust.

The second type, however, offers increased waterproofing and, although slightly more expensive, provides additional advantages. These models are not afraid of water, making them an ideal solution for outdoor installation, near pools, or showers. The strips also work excellently in a wide temperature range from minus 40 to plus 80 degrees Celsius, making them suitable for illuminating showcases and refrigerators.
