Prices for electrical services will be higher for longer cable lengths requiring chiseling for installation. Chiseling involves creating a special groove in the wall to completely conceal the wiring. The cost of this work also depends on the material of the wall where the groove is made.

Using corrugated tubing for cable laying is more cost-effective as it requires fewer additional manipulations and tools. When forming the total price, we take into account not only the number of sockets and switches but also drilling holes and connections in non-standard locations.

Here are the rates for chiseling for electrical cables in our company (per linear meter):

Closed cable laying will cost 30 UAH per linear meter, while open (loft-style) cable laying will cost 60 UAH per linear meter. If chiseling is not required and the cable will be laid in corrugated tubing, the cost will be 45.00 UAH or 65.00-90.00 UAH per linear meter for power cables.
Additional services include:

• Cable end sealing (crimping) - 100 UAH per piece
• Soldering - 70.00 UAH per joint
• Groove filling - 50 UAH per linear meter

During electrical installation works, drilling holes may be required instead of chiseling. This process involves cutting through the material using a specialized tool (drill). The price in this case will depend on the required diameter of the through hole and the material of the wall:

• Drywall: from 60 UAH
• Brick: from 80 UAH
• Concrete: from 100 UAH

The cost also depends on the type of fixture being installed and the nature of the work. If you need to drill a hole to install a spot light in drywall, prices will start at 100 UAH each. When installing a fixture in a suspended ceiling, the price increases to 150 UAH.

How much does it cost to install electrical equipment?

Simply installing sockets and lighting isn't enough; additional equipment is necessary for the correct and safe operation of all electricity in a house or apartment. When calculating prices for electrical installation works, consider the need for circuit breakers, residual-current devices (RCDs), and voltage relays.

When forming the overall price for electrical installation works in our company, we also take into account additional services that may be required during lighting installation. For instance, assembly of a basic chandelier costs 350 UAH, while soldering LED strips is priced at 70 UAH each. Installing LED strips in profiles is calculated at 200.00 UAH per linear meter.

Additionally, when installing sockets, we also fit back boxes (at 50 UAH each). The price for each electrical installation point also depends on the wall material:
