Add control of two independent lighting circuits where you need it. The VL-XR008 wireless touch switch sends commands to the FC2Z2-2G relay. Position the switch beside your bed, sofa or desk without running a cable to it or cutting channels in the wall.

How the kit works

The VL-XR008 switch runs on a battery and sends commands by radio. The FC2Z2-2G relay connects to the mains supply and lighting wiring to switch the load. Two touch buttons control two circuits independently, such as a ceiling light and wall light, or main and accent lighting.

What makes this kit different

The FC2Z2-2G relay has its own touch sensor for manually switching the lighting on and off. This provides an additional control method alongside the wireless switch. If you plan to use the relay sensor, allow access to it while following the installation requirements.

A gateway is not required for direct control after the devices are paired. Smartphone control through LIVOLO HOME, schedules and automations require a compatible LIVOLO gateway, sold separately. Available features depend on the connected devices and system settings.

Installation

Install and connect the relay according to its manual, pair it with the wireless switch and test communication before final mounting. Metal surfaces may weaken the radio signal. The wireless connection removes the need for a cable to the additional switch; the relay still requires a wired connection. Refer to the FC2Z2-2G manual for its supply wiring and permitted load.
