Livolo EC Self-Powered Wireless Button — is a convenient and modern control device for smart home systems. It does not require batteries or mains power, as it uses the kinetic energy generated by pressing the button to transmit a signal. Its stylish design and flexible installation options make it an ideal solution for automating lighting and other smart devices in the home.

The button is compatible with the Livolo EC gateway and allows you to trigger control scenarios — for example, switching lights or appliances on. To implement smart device interaction, the button must be used together with other smart devices. For example, the simplest automation scenario (turning on the light after pressing the button) requires at least one gateway, one smart switch, and one self-powered button.

Thanks to its compact round housing with a diameter of 66 mm and a thickness of only 22 mm, the remote control can be installed in a convenient location on the wall without a mounting box or additional wiring.

Connection and User Instructions

Before adding the remote control, make sure that the LIVOLO gateway is connected to the network and configured in the app.

1. Open the LIVOLO app.
2. Go to the Device section.
3. Tap «+» in the upper-right corner.
4. Select the appropriate device type.
5. Tap Next.
6. Follow the instructions in the app and press the self-powered button to put it into pairing mode. The procedure should be completed within approximately 1 minute.
7. Wait until the connection progress indicator in the app reaches 100%.
8. Tap Finish and assign a name to the device.
9. After connection, configure the required action or automation scenario in the app to be triggered when the button is pressed.

Installation

It is recommended to install the remote control on a clean and smooth surface. An uneven or rough wall may result in unreliable mounting.

It is not recommended to install the remote control directly on metal doors or other large metal surfaces, as metal may reduce the quality and range of the wireless signal.
