What is the installation distance for LIVOLO sockets?
The installation distance between LIVOLO switches is a standard 71 mm, so using this distance is a fundamental requirement when installing wall boxes.
What type of wall boxes are used for installing the sockets?
A round wall box with external dimensions of 65 mm and a depth of 47 mm.
What material are the frames of LIVOLO sockets made of?
The key switches have a frame made of glass. The surface of the sockets and key switches is combined, with a glass frame and a plastic mechanism.
Can LIVOLO switches and sockets be installed vertically?
Yes, LIVOLO can also be installed vertically. Since the mechanism can only be installed in a glass panel or frame in one way, switches and sockets should be rotated 90 degrees to the right or left for vertical installation. In the case of sockets, only the metal frame needs to be rotated. The socket should be pulled out from the metal frame, and after rotating the metal frame, it should be reinstalled in the metal frame so that the socket openings are oriented horizontally.
What power rating are the sockets designed for?
The nominal load of the socket is 16 amps or 3.5 kW.
Can I use LIVOLO sockets in wet environments?
The sockets are designed for use in damp environments and have an IP20 protection rating. For sockets installed in wet areas such as bathrooms, it is recommended to use a socket cover that protects the socket mechanism from splashes and moisture. The cover should have an IP44 protection rating.
Can the sockets be secured using mounting claws?
Yes, LIVOLO hardware can also be secured using mounting screws if the mounting box does not have bolt attachments.
What is the warranty term for LIVOLO products?

Can I install LIVOLO sockets if the electrical wiring in my apartment is already completed?
Yes! The conditions for connecting LIVOLO sockets and switches are the same as for regular toggle switches, so LIVOLO sockets and switches can be installed even after the main electrical installation is completed.
Does LIVOLO have a cross switch (crossed switch)?
Yes, there are. Regular touch alternative (intermediate) switches have a cross-switching function. The light can be switched on and off from 3-5 different locations. Toggle switches have separate models for cross-switching.
