Curtain rods with a total length of more than 6 meters are supplied disassembled and assembled directly at the installation site. Below is a step-by-step assembly instruction:
Assembly instructions:
1. In the disassembled state, the curtain rod consists of separate sections and carriage elements.

2. Lay out all components on a flat surface to their full length. Unscrew two screws and remove the metal elements from the carriage.

3. Simultaneously connect both parts of the curtain rod profile and the carriage by pushing them toward each other. It is important that the connection of the carriage and profile happens simultaneously.

4. Turn the curtain rod over. Loosen the screws on the connecting plate so it can move freely along the profile.

6. Slide the connecting plate so that it evenly enters both sections of the curtain rod. Press the sections firmly together and fix the plate by tightening the screws. Do not overtighten the screws — this may cause deformation of the profile.

7. Return the curtain rod to its original position. Install the U-shaped plate on the disassembled carriage and assemble it.

8. Assemble the carriage. Congratulations! The curtain rod is assembled.

Avoid bending the profile in the connection area during installation. To ensure structural rigidity, it is recommended to install ceiling brackets directly near the connection point of the sections.
How to Assemble a 90-Degree Curtain Track Corner
To reduce shipping costs for large curtain tracks, LIVOLO electric curtain systems are delivered disassembled. Assembling them is very easy. Follow the instructions below:
1. Prepare the 90° corner connector
This is a special part that allows you to connect two curtain track sections at a right angle.
2. Insert the curtain track into the corner connector
Carefully insert each section of the track into the corresponding slots on both sides of the connector.
3. Assemble the structure
Make sure all parts are tightly joined together.
🔧 Note:
If the connection is not perfectly aligned (slots don’t fully match), gently adjust it. Use a small file to carefully sand the edge of the track to ensure a tight and even fit.
