🔍 Buying a Livolo digital thermostat for water heating is an investment in comfort, energy efficiency, and stylish design. Suitable for fan coil units, in-floor convectors, and both heating and cooling systems.

🔌 Connecting the Thermostat to an In-Floor Convector

🔋 Power Supply

230 V power is supplied to both the thermostat and the controller.
The controller operates at 230 V and controls the in-floor water heating convector according to the thermostat settings.

⚠️When using fans or actuators that require 12/24/48 V, step-down transformers must be used.

Analog Control Mode (0–10 V)

Speed Terminal	Signal (V)	Fan Mode
Low	0 V	Off or Minimum
Med	~5 V	Medium Speed
High	10 V	Maximum Speed

🧠 Operating Principle

The thermostat sends control signals to the controller via terminals A and B.
The controller supplies 230 V to terminals Open, Close, Low, Med, and High to activate the necessary system components.

🔁 Connecting the Actuator (Water Supply Valve)

The Open and Close terminals are used to control the actuator.
The controller opens or closes the valve by applying voltage to these terminals.

🌬️ Connecting the Convector Fan

The terminals are used to switch fan operation modes. The controller supplies 230 V to one of the terminals according to the set temperature.
- Low (Low Speed)
- Med (Medium Speed)
- High (High Speed)

Number of posts The number of mounting boxes This is the number of separate modules (sockets) for connecting electrical appliances within a single frame. 🔹 1-gang – one thermostat 🔹 2-gang – a combination of a thermostat with another device or two thermostats (double frame). 🔹 3 or more gangs – a unit for installing multiple devices simultaneously, with a maximum of 5 gangs. The number of gangs determines how many mounting boxes are used for installing individual modules.	1
Protection Ingress Protection They define the level of protection for electrical devices against dust and moisture penetration, which is important for their safety and longevity. 🔹IP20 is suitable for use in dry areas, such as rooms in a house or apartment, kitchen, hallway, or bedroom. 🔹IP40 is suitable for areas with low levels of dust but no exposure to moisture. 🔹IP44 is the perfect choice for bathrooms or other areas with high humidity, where accidental water splashes may occur. These protection ratings ensure the reliability and safety of devices in environments where there may be some level of contamination or moisture.	IP20
