Turn the light on at the entrance and off from your bed. This LIVOLO kit combines an M7FC1Z2 flush-mounted touch wall switch with a VL-XR007 wireless switch. It provides two control points for one lighting circuit without running a cable between the switches.

How the kit works

The M7FC1Z2 fits into a wall back box and connects to the lighting wiring. It can be operated by touching its wall-mounted panel. The battery-powered VL-XR007 sends radio commands to the same wall switch.

The receiver in this kit is a complete M7FC1Z2 touch wall switch designed for a wall back box. Control the light either from its panel or from the wireless switch.

A gateway is not required for direct control after the devices are paired. Smartphone control through LIVOLO HOME, schedules and automations require a compatible LIVOLO gateway, sold separately. Available features depend on the connected devices and system settings.

Installation

Install and connect the M7FC1Z2 in a wall back box according to its manual, pair it with the wireless switch and test communication before final mounting. Metal surfaces may weaken the radio signal. The wireless connection removes the need for a cable to the additional switch; the wall switch still requires a wired connection. Refer to the M7FC1Z2 manual for its supply wiring and permitted load.
