Add lighting control beside your bed, sofa or room entrance without running wires to the switch. The battery-powered LIVOLO VL-XR008 sends commands to a compatible relay or smart wall switch. Add it to an existing system or build a new combination of devices. A relay and smart wall switch are not included.
How it works
The wireless switch is a transmitter: touching a button sends a radio command to the paired device. The relay or smart switch connected to the lighting wiring switches the lights on and off. The wireless switch does not connect directly to the light fitting or switch its power supply.
Choose your control arrangement
- One switch — one relay. Control a ceiling light, wall light or another lighting circuit from your chosen location.
- One switch — several relays simultaneously. Pair the required touch button with several compatible relays to control lights in different locations with one touch.
- Several switches — one relay. Add control of the same lighting circuit at the entrance and on both sides of the bed without cables between the switches.
- Wireless switch — smart wall switch. Pair it with an M7FC1Z2 to control the lighting from both the wall panel and an additional wireless location.
Compatible devices
- VL-XE001 / VL-XE002 — compatible relays without on-relay manual touch control of the load.
- FC1Z2-2G / FC2Z2-2G — compatible relays with additional manual control through the relay’s own touch sensor.
- M7FC1Z2 — a compatible smart touch wall switch for installation in a wall back box.
Touch control options
Two touch buttons allow two separate control groups. Each button can be paired with the required channel of a compatible receiver or with a group of receivers: for example, the first for main lighting and the second for wall lights and accent lighting.
Colour and finish
Colour: white. Glass front surface: glossy 2.5D glass with rounded edges. The glossy finish gives the surface a distinctive shine.

Pairing and installation
You can pair the switch with your chosen compatible relay or smart switch yourself. Activate pairing mode on the receiver according to its manual, then touch the required button on the wireless switch. For group control, repeat pairing with the same button on the other receivers. To add another control location, pair another wireless switch with the same receiver. The number of stored pairings and programming procedure depend on the receiver model. Test communication at the chosen location before mounting; metal surfaces may weaken the radio signal.
Smart features
A gateway is not required for direct control of paired devices. Smartphone control of compatible devices, schedules and scenes in LIVOLO HOME require a suitable LIVOLO gateway and a configured system. The gateway is sold separately. Automation features depend on the connected equipment.
