1. Install the LIVOLO HOME app

Download the app from Google Play or App Store. Create an account if you don’t have one.

2. Add a switch-compatible Livolo Control Center (gateway) to the app

Before connecting the gateway, check your Wi-Fi router settings:

  • Set Wi-Fi to 2.4 GHz, disabling automatic switching to 5 GHz.
  • Use Wi-Fi standard B/G with WPA/WPA2 encryption.
  • If necessary, reduce Firewall protection or temporarily disable it.

The smartphone you use to add the gateway must be connected to the same Wi-Fi network as the gateway.

Make sure the hub is turned on and has internet access. You can check this in the LIVOLO HOME app or by the LED indicator on the hub: it should glow blue.

3. Add smart switches

To connect to the hub, the Light Switch must be within the hub’s radio network coverage.

LIVOLO Light Switch works only with one hub. When connected to a new hub, the switch stops sending commands to the old one. After adding it to the new hub, the switch will not be automatically removed from the device list of the old hub. You need to do this manually in the LIVOLO HOME app.

To connect the LIVOLO Light Switch to the hub:

  1. Install the LIVOLO Light Switch if you haven’t already.
  2. Open the LIVOLO HOME app.
  3. Tap + Add device.
  4. Tap Add — the countdown will begin.
  5. Enter a device name.
  6. Select a virtual room.
  7. Within a few seconds, the LIVOLO Light Switch will appear in the list.

If the connection fails, try again after 5 seconds.
