What should I do if the switch sensor does not work properly?

Firstly, check the following conditions:

1. A load is connected to the switch - a lamp or other device.

2. The switch is connected according to the scheme of a switch or a dimer, a 2 way switch.

3. The backlight of the sensors should work.

Possible causes and how to solve them

Problem Possible reason Solution
1 The switch does not respond to touch

The load power is too low, the switch "does not see" it.

Significant reactive load connected (transformer, motor, etc.)

Temporarily, connect an incandescent lamp. If the switch starts to work, you need to install an adapter.
Installing the adapter parallel to the load in the 220 volt network according to the diagram.

Installing the adapter solves the problem 95% of the time. If installing the adapter did not help, you need to additionally install a capacitor.

The switch does not work with the glass panel installed. Without panel, the switch works

The switch sensor is far away from the glass panel.

1) The glass panel may not be firmly installed.

2) When mounting the switch, the metal support was damaged.

1) slip the sensor closer to the glass panel.

2) replace the metal support.

Sensor setup

1. Turn off the voltage!
2. Remove the touch pad.
3. Raise the sensor board 1-2 mm from the top.
4. Install the touchpad.
5. Apply voltage.
6. The switch starts working after 15 seconds.

3 The switch does not turn off the light. When the sensor is touched, the relay operation is heard, the LED changes color, but the light does not turn off. The circuit breaker turned on a load with an inrush current greater than 5 amps (1000 watts). It could be an LED strip with a powerful power supply, a fan, what. Such devices at the time of switching on in the first second consume tens of times more current than during operation.

The switch should be sent to a service center for testing.

In order to prevent the problem from reoccurring, we recommend installing a Soft Starter

4 The switch automatically turns on or off after a while Loading power is too small, the switch "does not see" it. Or a significant reactive load is connected (transformer, motor, etc.)

Temporarily, connect an incandescent lamp. If the switch starts to work, you need to install an adapter.
Installing the adapter parallel to the load in the 220 volt network according to the diagram.

5 No sensor backlight

1. No load connected

2. The problem with the microcontroller

1. Check the wiring diagram

2. The switch must be sent to a service center.

6 The backlight of the sensors changes from blue to red or vice versa, goes out and changes again

1. Incorrect wiring diagram of the pass switch

2. Light load

1. For a pass-through switch, check the wiring diagram

2. Increase load or install adapter VL-XA001

7 One of the two switches does not work Programming gone wrong

Reset programming:

Touch the sensor of the Main switch and hold your finger until the second beep (after about 10 seconds). The programming will be reset.

Programming:

Step 1: Press the Main Switch sensor and hold your finger until it beeps (about 4-5 seconds). Release your finger from the sensor zones.

Step 2: Press the Second Switch sensor for half a second.
