Low-voltage switches are marked with "C". They are used so that the Livolo switch does not directly control the light source, but transmits a signal to the module responsible for controlling the light source (for example, Fibaro modules, LOXONE, other Z-Wave devices …).

This type of switch is primarily intended for use in intelligent “Smart Home” systems that require a "dry relay contact". A dry contact is a contact that does not have a direct connection to the power source and ground. This means that there is no voltage on the dry contact terminals unless the terminals are connected to other equipment.

Sensor switch with dry contact requires a supply voltage of 12/24 volts DC. The switch works in mode #1, the contact closes when touching the sensor and opens when touching the sensor again. With this type of switch, you can switch 12V, 24V or 115V, 220V. The maximum load on a dry contact is 1000 W.

Features:

  • Dry contact;
  • Power supply 12/24 volts;

  • The possibility of installation in both standard and deep mounting boxes;
  • Simple and quick installation using a screw connection;
  • Possibility of installing up to 5 pieces in one frame;
  • Attachment to the mounting box using screws;
  • Durable painted metal caliper;
  • Use with tempered glass frame;
  • Capacitive sensor.

Connection diagram: The switch should be connected to a 12/24 DC power supply. The input and output are closed when the sensor is touched and open when the sensor is touched again.
