Waking up every day, we dream of the end of the war. The year 2023 has become a year of trials and hope.
Russia had planned to capture Ukraine within three days, but the war has been ongoing for almost two years. This is a challenging period not only for Ukraine but for the entire civilized world. The war has significantly impacted the economic development of many countries.
Millions of Ukrainians have lost their homes and have been forced to relocate. Over 350,000 Russian soldiers have died without clear reasons. When asked what they are fighting for, no one can provide an answer.
This is a map of Ukraine. The red and pink areas are territories under Russian control, while the blue areas are territories that have been liberated as of today. However, the struggle continues.
We closely monitor the evolving situation and strive to support our partner stores amid the war. Despite the challenges and the displacement of people due to military actions in the east and south of Ukraine, we remain committed to our mission - bringing comfort and innovation into the lives of people seeking new opportunities in these challenging times.
Chernigov city
The city of Chernihiv narrowly avoided falling under the control of Russian forces, as events unfolded differently from what the occupiers had intended. All the residents of the city and the Ukrainian military successfully defended it from the enemy's invasion.
Just before the war started, we had several stores in the city that featured a wide range of products from LIVOLO. One of them was a huge supermarket named "Epicentre". Unfortunately, due to a missile strike, the entire supermarket burned down along with our merchandise.
Another supermarket named "VENA" remained undamaged and promptly resumed its operations after the liberation of the city from occupation. We set up an exhibition stand and initiated the process of rebuilding the destructive aftermath for more than 3500 damaged apartments and buildings.
Small shops are gradually recovering their operations. Currently, their number is far from what it used to be before the war. Opening a store requires significant financial investments, and unfortunately, there are fewer customers. We highly appreciate the efforts of every such store that continues to operate in the midst of war.
Daily air raids are taking place, significantly affecting both the morale of the population and the normal functioning of stores. During air raids, stores temporarily cease their operations.
The city of Kiev
Russian forces regularly shell the capital of Ukraine using various military equipment, such as unmanned aerial vehicles, cruise missiles, and ballistic missiles. The air defense system in Kiev is recognized as one of the most effective in the world, and the majority of missiles are successfully intercepted. This process is accompanied by extremely powerful and loud explosions, upon hearing which one can feel their entire body trembling with fear.
Despite the night attacks, there are brave individuals who are opening new stores. In 2023, a new electronics store named "FLASH" opened in the Goloseevsky district of Kiev.
We continue to expand the presence of the LIVOLO brand in major supermarket chains. In supermarkets, there is a display of sockets and switches from 67 different manufacturers. However, among all brands, LIVOLO products stand out, especially in my opinion – they are the best!

We took a long time to choose the colors and materials for the exhibition design and concluded that glossy black best meets our requirements. Glass switches, in particular, look especially impressive – they add an elegant and stylish appearance to our project.

Setting up such an exhibition is a process that takes several days. First, a layout is created with a plan for placing goods. Then, a frame with backlighting is formed, which can be controlled using a touch switch located on the frame. After that, switches, sockets, and other products are installed, and they are connected to the electricity.
Another store for switches, sockets, and lighting fixtures in the city of Kyiv. We are entering into competition with major players in the field of electrical engineering, such as Berker, Schneider, Simon, Jung, Legrand, and ABB.
LIVOLO thermostats are not only easy to use but also stand out with superior design compared to competitors.
Environmental Catastrophe
The destruction of the Kakhovka Hydroelectric Power Station is considered a war crime and a potential act of environmental catastrophe committed by the occupying forces of the Russian Federation at around 2:50 am on June 6, 2023, during the Russian invasion of Ukraine. The dam of the Kakhovka HPP was mined and subsequently exploded. Approximately 16,000 people were affected in the disaster area, and around 80 settlements were flooded as a result of the act of terrorism.
City of Ivano-Frankivsk
Almost all of our displays located in stores are connected to electricity. This means that customers can personally experience the operation of touch switches, thermostats, Bluetooth speakers, staircase lighting fixtures, and other products. This approach allows us to attract the maximum number of customers.
LIVOLO HOME App
We are working on a high-quality translation of the LIVOLO HOME app into Ukrainian. It is important to consider that a good translation not only facilitates users' understanding of the product's functionality but also creates a positive impression of the product and the brand as a whole.
Google Play
We thank our clients for their feedback. The rating of the LIVOLO HOME app on Google Play is growing. At the beginning of the year the rating was 2.5, now it is 3.7.
Apple Store
Similarly with iPhone clients. The rating of the LIVOLO HOME app in the Apple Store increased from 2.7 to 3.8 over the year.

Free Exhibition Featuring LIVOLO Products
This is our mini-exhibition stand that we provide to small stores specializing in the sale of switches and sockets. In 2023, we dispatched more than 10 such stands to various corners of Ukraine, primarily targeting cities located as far as possible from the conflict zone.
Online Work
We dedicate time every day to the development of our online store, conduct effective advertising campaigns, and continuously enhance the functionality of our website. As a result, when users search for terms like "Touch Switch" and similar queries, our website consistently ranks first in search engine results.
City of Ternopil
The "Light House" store regularly places orders with us. This year, we took on the expansion of their exhibition, adding products such as Thermostats, USB sockets Type A-C, Motion sensors, Clocks, Staircase lighting fixtures, and other popular items to their assortment. These products quickly gained recognition among the customers of this store.
City of Khmelnytskyi
Regularly subjected to enemy missile strikes due to the presence of military facilities both within the city and in the surrounding region, the current situation in this region is considered dangerous.
In the peaceful city of Khmelnytskyi, there is a store called "Elektrotekhnika", which captivates with its homely atmosphere. Its spacious and thoughtfully designed layout attracts attention. We simply couldn't pass by without interest. And now that we've entered the store for acquaintance, we have gained +1 sales partner for LIVOLO.
Supermarket "Epicenter," City of Khmelnytskyi, 11/4 Zarychanska Street.
In the store's parking lot, there is a car that has been damaged by shelling in the city of Kherson. Fortunately, all the military personnel who were in the car at the time of the shelling survived, but we can see the remnants of the vehicle. The car was brought here to show us the price of our peaceful and tranquil life many kilometers away from the front line.
The city of Odessa
The city of Odessa, located on the Black Sea coast, used to be a key point for receiving our orders from China. However, due to military actions, the Black Sea has become unsafe for navigation. Currently, we redirect our orders to Europe and then deliver them to Ukraine by rail. This has led to a significant increase in the delivery time and cost of goods.
Odessa has felt the extremely severe consequences of the war, with a large number of destroyed residential and commercial buildings, ports. Business activity in Odessa has almost come to a halt, and our sales in this region have dropped by 95%.
Without losing hope, we have set up a mobile display in one of the electrical goods supermarkets. With open hearts, we await new orders.
The city of Kryvyi Rih
Located in the conflict zone, is currently extremely dangerous for life. Shelling occurs almost daily, and the distance to the occupied territories is only 45 kilometers.
Most local residents were forced to leave their homes, and many men have changed their professions from sellers to military personnel.

Delivery of orders throughout Ukraine
We use the delivery services provided by "Nova Poshta" company. Thanks to this service, our customers receive their orders on the next day after placing them, which is very fast and convenient.
Unfortunately, Russia demonstrates hostility towards countries that seek to improve the quality of life for their citizens. This is evident in the practice of terrorist acts aimed at destroying successful businesses designed to enhance people's living conditions. On October 21, 2023, Russia launched missiles at the "Nova Poshta" terminal in the Kharkiv region. According to official information from the "Nova Poshta" company, this terrorist act resulted in the deaths of six employees.
The city of Mukachevo
is located among the mountains in the western part of Ukraine. Founded in the 10th century, it was one of the most developed cities of Kievan Rus. During those times, the legendary Palanok Castle emerged here.
Due to the ongoing war in the eastern and southern parts of Ukraine, many people have been forced to leave their homes and relocate to the western regions. At the end of the summer, we set up an exhibition of LIVOLO products in a large construction supermarket in the city of Mukachevo.
City of Vinnytsia
In Vinnytsia, there is a well-known ROSHEN factory producing candies that are popular worldwide, including in China. Have you tried them?
In the fall, a new lighting store, LIGHT, opened in Vinnytsia, where customers can already purchase products from the LIVOLO brand.
This store "Oxalis Interior Space", specializes in interior decor. We are confident that products from LIVOLO look impressive and can enhance any interior design.
City of Lviv
In 2021, we organized the largest LIVOLO product exhibition in Ukraine at one of the largest supermarkets. The exhibition is impressive with the variety of LIVOLO products showcased - 184 different items!
Unfortunately, the sales volume was very low because the exhibition was located on the second floor, and customers were not going there. Therefore, in 2023, we decided to set up an additional exhibition stand on the first floor, encouraging visitors to go to the second floor. This decision proved to be effective!
Throughout 2023, thanks to our efforts, LIVOLO products started being sold in 19 new offline stores across Ukraine, primarily in the western part of the country.
Despite the whistling of rockets overhead, the sounds of explosions, alarm sirens, and damaged homes, hundreds of new customers were able to feel the love that the LIVOLO brand has bestowed upon them.
During every journey across Ukraine, the trunk of our car is filled with LIVOLO products for exhibitions in new stores, becoming not only a part of our business but also a symbol of national strength and resilience. In every city where we unfold our exhibitions, we contribute to the recovery of the economy and the spirit of local communities. This is not just a business journey but a commitment to support our cities in these challenging times. Our country, with its unique nature and devoted people, will always be our home, no matter where fate takes us.
