Deciding where to place switches and sockets, you need to consider several aspects. You may think that this is an insignificant detail, but it is not so, because the future, comfortable use of your apartment basically depends on where they will be located. Last but not least, it is important from an aesthetic point of view. Therefore, it is worth thinking carefully about the problem for which you can consider different aspects:

  1. Do you have children, toddlers, or do you plan to? Small children are curious, but they don't know what is dangerous and what is not, they touch and try everything. In the case of socket is obviously not a good idea, which is why it's useful in this case if they don't have access: the sockets are behind something or at a height they can't reach.
  2. Where do you use electrical appliances? There's nothing more annoying than when you can't use your laptop or smartphone while sitting on the sofa because the charging cable is too short. You can only connect the lamp using an extension cord, etc. Think in advance which placement of sockets will be practical for connecting electrical appliances.
  3. How many sockets do you need? Don't make hasty decisions on this matter, as they can lead to cables and splitters sticking out of the wall everywhere, which isn't pretty at all. Take the time to properly think about how many small appliances are on the kitchen table that need electricity, and put exactly that many there (maybe plus one) sockets as many as you need. The same applies to other rooms: bathroom, bedroom and living room.

+1 tip

You don't need to hide sockets! Many people install sockets in the least visible places. However, very aesthetically pleasing products are available today, so you don't have to try to make them invisible.
